The Darkness reunites brothers

British hard rock band sets aside differences after five-year break.

Feuding brothers Justin and Dan Hawkins have finally made their peace and are ready to reunite their hard rock band The Darkness along with other original members, bassist Frankie Poullain and drummer Ed Graham, according to British newspaper, The Sun.

More good news for fans as the quartet is planning to return to the studio to record a third album, their first since the disappointing One Way Ticket to Hell … and Back released in 2005.

The band formed in 2000 and shot to fame with the release of their debut album, Permission to Land in 2003. At the 2004 BRIT Awards ceremony, the group won best album of the year.

In August 2006, lead singer Justin Hawkins went into rehab for alcohol and cocaine addiction, and the group subsequently disbanded. Justin’s decision to leave the band led to the squabble with his brother Dan, and they stopped speaking.
