Is this the end of Fall Out Boy? According to messages posted by Pete Wentz on Twitter, it would appear the band’s future is up in the air. Wentz suggests the group is now on a break and that break could become permanent.
In one of these messages, Pete Wentz, married to singer Ashlee Simpson and father of Bronx Mowgli, says, "I don’t know the future of Fall Out Boy. It’s embarrassing to say one thing and then have the future dictate another. As far as I know Fall Out Boy is on (a) break."
In another message he says, "As much as I don’t have a solo project, I also can’t predict that I’d ever play in Fall Out Boy again." Besides singing, Wentz is the group’s bassist. They sold nearly 2.5 million copies of their first album in 2005 in the United States alone before becoming one of the biggest bands of the moment.
