The Hills Have Eyes Teaser Released

A small part of the horror film The Hills Have Eyes was released today on the internet.

Fans of zombie and mutant films will appreciate the efforts of filmmaker Wes Craven with his remake of the 1977 film.  The film is expected to be released on March 2, 2007, and is currently using the title The Hills Have Eyes II.

The full-length film has been in the hands of Wes Craven’s son, Jonathan Craven, since September 4.

The original film, The Hills Have Eyes, earned $55.9 million, which was quite a profit for its slim budget of $14 million.

Derek Mears (Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man’s Chest) has been confirmed to be starring in the horror.

In The Hills Have Eyes II, National Guard cadets stop in a desert to deliver goods to military scientists.  When they arrive, they find the camp deserted.  They soon discover that the villagers have been transformed by nuclear radiation into semi-human creatures.
