The Investigation of Michael Jackson’s Doctor Continues

Police in Los Angeles recently searched the home of the doctor who was with Michael Jackson when he went into cardiac arrest.

Dr. Conrad Murray was with Jackson when he died and was unsuccessful in his attempt to revive him.  Yesterday (July 22), police officers from Los Angeles and Houston, as well as FBI officers, searched the doctor’s home, reported People.

The doctor’s clinic was also searched, and investigators were looking for Propofol, a medication used for anesthesia that was found in the King of Pop’s system.

During the search, Dr. Murray was in Nevada, where he has another practice.  Miranda Sevcik, a rep for Murray’s lawyer, stated, "This [raid] was unexpected to us. All this drama is just not necessary, is how we feel."

According to the doctor’s lawyer, Murray is already being tried in public.  Ed Chernoff said, "Murray is frustrated by negative and often erroneous media reports, he has to walk around 24-7 with a bodyguard. He can’t operate his practice. He can’t go to work because he is harassed no matter where he goes."
