To mark the anniversary, U2 will be releasing four new versions of the album, a remix CD, a DVD, a two-disc collection and a special edition in vinyl. Fans of the Irish rockers will be able to purchase the new collections on November 20. In addition to the full disc, alternative versions of songs will also be offered in the new releases.
A live performance of the band at the Hippodrome in Paris, which was recording on July 4, 1987, will be featured on the DVD.
Produced by Brian Eno, The Joshua Tree shot U2 into international stardom. Two songs from the disc, With or Without You and I Still Haven’t Found What I’m Looking For, were both at the number one spot on Billboard charts.
