The Killers to team up with Muse?

The Killers would love to team up with Muse for a track, and singer Brandon Flowers thinks they would make a "spectacular" song together.

The Killers would love to team up with Muse for a track.

The two bands both played at the MTV European Music Awards (EMAs) in Frankfurt, Germany, on Sunday (11.11.12), and hung out at a party afterward, where Killers singer Brandon Flowers said he likes the idea of collaborating with the British rock titans.

He told The Sun newspaper: "We’ve become good friends with Muse. We get along so well, so I’d never rule out working together. We would be trying to outdo each other. It would be spectacular, the choruses would be huge."

Muse singer Matt Bellamy – who has 16-month-old baby son Bingham with Kate Hudson – also said he found the time to look around the German city’s red-light district on a special guided tour.

He said: "I walked around and looked at all the prostitutes.

"I was just checking it out because you don’t see that kind of thing in England, so I was very interested."

Meanwhile Muse’s bassist Chris Wolstenholme, 33, said he was enjoying being at the awards, as it made a change from what the band are used to.

He said: "It’s different being at a pop event like this. It makes a nice change to do something like this on our day off while we’re in the middle of a tour. It’s a very different world to what we’re used to."

Muse are currently touring Europe in support of their ‘The 2nd Law’ album, while The Killers are also on the same continent, showcasing their latest record, ‘Battle Born’.
