The New Saab 9-5
The vehicle’s profile has evolved in the front, featuring a more aggressive look. The slightly rounded grill and chrome bars have been replaced by a single line, integrating the brand name.
The black windshield, a component of the new Saab design, gives the impression that the roof is placed on glass panes. In terms of equipment, the 9-5 features head-up displays inspired by the world of aviation, as well as adaptive headlights.
The Saab 9-5 offers a full range of engines with petrol, diesel and bioethanol E85, ranging from 160 to 300 horsepower. Each engine can be paired with a manual or 6-speed transmission.
While the current model’s sales have been falling, the new 9-5 is a fresh start for the Swedish brand. Now that Saab has been sold to Koenigsegg, the Saab 9-5 will be the first product released after the takeover.
