The Pussycat Dolls Take Time Out

The Pussycat Dolls cannot stand being around each other for 24 hours a day, and have decided to take a break from music.

Singer Melody Thornton denies that the group, which also includes Nicole Scherzinger, Ashley Roberts, Kimberly Wyatt and Jessica Sutta, are separating for good. However, she did reveal that they need some time apart from one another, reports Music-News.

Thornton stated, "Right now the Pussycat Dolls are on a break. It’s actually a much-needed break. It’s like when you’re with your sisters for 24 hours a day and you need to take your own shower. We’re not breaking up – everybody keeps saying that, but, it’s like, people take breaks."

Last month, the future of the Pussycat Dolls seemed uncertain, while rumours were circulating that there was tension in the group as a result of the members being jealous of their lead singer, Nicole Scherzinger.
