The Rolling Stones Beat Another Record

Rock group, The Rolling Stones, has just beat a new record, for their popularity when touring.

According to Billboard magazine, the legendary group is in first place for top grossing tour in history.

Since August 2005, the group has made $437 million for their last tour.  They did 110 concerts, and were seen by 3.5 million fans.

The Stones managed to have this success, despite health problems incurred during the tour.  Singer, Mick Jagger, 63, had to cancel a few shows due to a sore throat.  A few other concerts were cancelled when guitarist, Keith Richards, received a head injury in Fiji.

The Irish group U2, held the previous record for the highest grossing tour.  Their Vertigo tour made $377 million.
