The singer will be recording his debut solo album. According to Billboard this album will be recorded in the spring 2008.
The musician would like to do different sounds for the solo album. He explained that this project will integrate Native tribal sounds, as well as sounds from the Middle East.
Erna will be collaborating with many artists, including singer Lisa Guyer, who participated in the song Hollow, for the album Godsmack IV.
Godsmack recently launched the compilation Good Times, Bad Times…Ten Years of Godsmack and then announced that the group was taking some time off. According to Erna, this is temporary.
