One of American music’s most talented alternative rock bands, the Strokes, just confirmed the upcoming release of their fourth album, reports Spinner.ca.
The album, which has no title yet, will be in stores March 22, 2011.
This will be the first album in five years for the New York band, following up First Impressions of Earth which was released in 2006.
Confirmation on the Strokes album release date appeared on the Facebook page of bassist Nikolai Fraiture, which read: "Yes! You read right… March 22nd!! Looking forward to playing the new songs live."
This is the first news about their upcoming album since guitarist Albert Hammond Jr. confirmed last December that it contained 10 tracks.
