The Who around the world

The rock legends plan to spread their magic again.

They’ve been around since 1964 and say there are no plans to quit playing live. The Who want to head out on the road again and introduce their music to a new generation of fans.

Singer Roger Daltrey and guitarist Pete Townshend are thinking about launching a world tour starting in Spring 2011. Daltrey told Billboard: "We definitely don’t want to stop. We feel it’s the role of the artist to go all the way through life ’til you can’t do it anymore."

The rockers aren’t getting any younger though. Pete Townshend has a serious case of tinnitus, or ringing of the ears. Daltrey admits there are some adjustments they need to make to tour at their age.

Roger Daltrey has been touring solo lately and also opening for Eric Clapton. He talked about his long relationship with his bandmate Townshend and shared:  "I’ve dedicated my life to being the voice of his music. I’m happy with that position. I feel I’ve done a good job for him."
