It’s official: 2010 is comeback season. Not only has Eminem’s Recovery, a comeback record if ever there was one, held steady at #1 on the Billboard 200 for five weeks now, this week saw the release of the 70-year-old Welsh singer Tom Jones’ latest opus, Praise & Blame, which will be jostling the rapper from Detroit for first place. If he makes it, Jones will be the oldest artist to get the #1 spot, breaking records held by Bob Dylan’s Modern Times as well as his own Loaded.

Here are the top five country songs on Bob Kingsley’s Country Top 40:
