Thom Yorke will join M.I.A. and Massive Attack at the Big Chill

This could very well be Yorke’s one and only festival stop this summer.

Radiohead frontman Thom Yorke is turning more and more solo. He confirmed his presence at the Big Chill music festival being held in early August on the grounds of Eastnor Castle, located near the town of Ledbury, England.

Thom Yorke joins other headliners already confirmed at the festival, Massive Attack and singer M.I.A. She has been getting lots of attention lately following the release of her latest album which includes shocking declarations and a video that was banned by several broadcasters.

Since Radiohead’s tour in support of the album In Rainbows, the group announced plans to stop working on records, preferring instead to focus on songs sold individually and offered once they are completed.

Yorke will perform at the Big Chill festival on the evening of August 6. He has still not confirmed whether he will be accompanied, as he was most recently, by Red Hot Chili Peppers bassist Flea.
