Dave Gahan is recovering from a severe case of gastroenteritis, and doctors suggested that he take more time to recover. Therefore, Depeche Mode is cancelling three more shows.
The shows set for May 23 in Poland, May 25 in Latvia and May 27 in Lithuania have been cancelled.
So far, nine concert dates for the Sounds of the Universe tour have been scrapped.
The group offered apologies to their fans on their Web site. It is still unknown whether the May 30 show at London’s O2 Arena will go on.
