Three new walking tours in Paris

Tour company adds themed walking tours for the City of Lights.

Enjoy some fresh air and exercise as you stroll about Paris on one of three guided walking tours being offered by the tour company Cityrama, reports Routard.

The tours are offered in English, French or Spanish and cost about $40 to $50 for three hours of guided sightseeing.

The first tour, The Hidden Treasures of Paris, takes visitors from the Palais Royale to the Opera Garnier. The $50 fee (20 percent off if booked before June 30), includes a licensed guide and admission to the Opéra Garnier.

On the A Village in Paris tour, guests will explore the trendy Marais district of Paris. You can browse the designer boutiques, antique shops and art galleries and visit the place des Vosges square. The $40 ticket includes a guided tour of the Carnavalet museum as well.

The third tour, Notre Dame and the Latin Quarter, takes guests along the city’s historical left bank. You can see the Sorbonne, the Saint-Michel fountain, and the Panthéon and even walk in the footsteps of Jean-Paul Sartre and Simone de Beauvoir.  The $40 tour also includes a guided visit to the Notre Dame cathedral.
