The golf champ, who has seen his public image tarnish after he admitted to cheating on his wife with several women, is trying to redeem himself by giving a 3 million dollar donation to Wyclef Jean’s Yele foundation, which aims to build a mobile hospital in Haiti, reports Starpulse.com.
According to Russell Simmons, the co-founder of Def Jam Records, Woods is making this significant donation to help send doctors and supplies to Haiti, where the population was struck by a powerful, devastating earthquake on Tuesday (January 12).
Simmons stated, "Tiger Woods is working on sending a mobile hospital with 50 EMTs to go set up a triage."
