“Tim Hortons and Special Olympics Canada share core values of supporting diversity and inclusion and believe in the benefits of sport to help athletes reach their full potential,” said Hope Bagozzi, Director of Marketing at Tim Hortons.

Sport is very unifying, so this organization obviously believes it will push people to open their “hearts and minds to people with intellectual disabilities” while creating inclusive groups across Canada.

“We are very grateful for Tim Hortons’ support of our daily community sport program that enriches the lives of thousands of people with an intellectual disability,” said Sharon Bollenbach, Executive Director of Special Olympics Canada.

By the way, Maxime Clavette, a Special Olympics athlete from Quebec, is headlining a Tim Hortons TV commercial to promote this great campaign.

“When I joined Special Olympics, I was unable to run long distances. Now I’m really fast and I can run 5 km! I feel like I can do anything because I am included,” said Maxime Clavette.
