The Princess of Wales, Diana, who died in 1997, was apparently a close friend of the star of Mission: Impossible. The news was discovered when the actor’s biographer, Iain Johnstone, found Cruise in the company of a member of Britain’s Royal Family.
Johnstone said, "He was with Sarah Ferguson and the princesses. He’s won over our royal family and was best friends with Princess Diana. But he kept it quiet."
