Cruise will host a dinner in Manhattan for the New York Rescue Workers Detoxification Project organization. The charity comes to the aid of the police officers and fire fighters who risked their lives saving others in New York in 2001.
The program can offer free counseling to those still troubled by the trauma as well as help with health problems.
