Tom Ford unveils women’s collection

American designer releases official video from September fashion show.

After being shrouded for months in secrecy and mystery, American designer Tom Ford’s new line of womenswear is finally being unveiled to the public, reports Elle.

Last September, Ford announced his return to women’s fashions with a private upscale show during New York’s Fashion Week. The event was so exclusive, however, that only a small, handpicked audience was in attendance, and only a single photographer was on hand.

A few of the photographs surfaced in Harper’s Bazaar early last month, featuring Beyoncé’s modelling debut at Ford’s show, but now the entire line has finally been revealed, thanks to the video released by Ford, 49.

Several of the esteemed guests can be spotted in the official video, including photographer Terry Richardson, Vogue fashion editors Anna Wintour, Carine Roitfeld, and models Natalia Vodianova, Stella Tennant, and Karlie Kloss.

Celebrity models Lauren Hutton, Karen Elson, Julianne Moore, Daphne Guinness, and Lou Doillon, among others are also seen in the video walking the runway in Ford’s new creations.

The Tom Ford label launched its menswear collection in 2007, which has since become popular with many Hollywood A-listers. The label also produces optical frames and sunglasses, as well as a beauty brand in partnership with Estée Lauder.

In 2009, Ford made his feature film directorial debut with A Single Man, based on the novel of by Christopher Ishwerwood, starring Colin Firth and Julianne Moore.
