The Fugitive star Tommy Lee Jones will play opposite Meryl Streep in the comedy Great Hope Springs, according to the Hollywood Reporter.
Directed by David Frankel who previously worked with Streep in The Devil Wears Prada, the screenplay by Vanessa Taylor, centers on a couple (Streep and Jones), who have been married for 30 years and attend a weekend of intensive therapy to examine issues threatening their marriage. Steve Carell will play a famous relationship guru who tries to help them.
Filming will begin in August with a theatrical release slated for late 2012.
In the meantime, the Academy Award-winning star can be seen with Chris Evans in the highly-anticipated Captain America: The First Avenger this July 22. He also resumes his role opposite Will Smith for Men in Black III due out May 25, 2012.
