The 61-year-old actor claims that Paramount Pictures has not fulfilled its side of the contract concerning the Oscar-winning film, No Country for Old Men, and he is suing the production studio for $10 million.
In addition to playing Sheriff Tom Bell, Jones was to receive a financial contribution for promoting the Coen brothers film, as well as a bonus based on box office earnings, estimated at nearly $160 million.
The spokesperson for Tommy Lee Jones, Jennifer Allen, had only one comment about the lawsuit: "The paperwork stands for itself."
