Toni Collette pretends to be a monster

Toni Collette pretends to be a monster to entertain her children.

The 40-year-old actress loves playing games with her kids – five-year-old daughter Arlo and two-year-old son Sage who she has with husband Dave Galafassi – and they like it best when she pretends to gobble them up.

She said:  »For the last couple of months, my kids have been big on me being a monster. I generally jump and growl and pretend to eat them. I can only do it for so long but they would do it for hours on end. »

Toni is enjoying every aspect of motherhood and recently took Sage to see the ‘Cinderella’, and the little one was delighted with the performance.

She told People magazine:  »I took my daughter to see the musical ‘Cinderella’ and she loved it. Just seeing her so overwhelmed with excitement made me get teary. »

Despite having two young children, Toni still swears as she finds expressing the right curse word feels very  »satisfying ».

She said:  »I find swearing quite satisfying when used appropriately and in context. And it’s quite often, which is why I can’t remember the last time I did it. »
