Topshop to Open Its Doors in the Spring

Topshop is postponing the grand opening of its store in the United States.

The retail group Arcadia had to postpone the opening of the Topshop boutique in New York, after experiencing logistical delays, reports FashionMag. Sir Philip Green, the owner, originally planned for the store’s grand opening to take place in November, but had to push it back until spring 2009.

A spokesperson for Topshop explained that the group wanted the store to be completely finished before Christmas.

Even though Topshop itself will not physically be opened in the United States this year, the online store will still be launched in mid-September, as expected.
