Yesterday morning (October 11), actress Tori Spelling and husband Dean McDermott welcomed their third child together, a girl they named Hattie Margaret, weighing 6 lb. 14 oz., reports People.
The 90210 TV star Tweeted the news, “Our family’s so happy 2 announce [that on] 10/10/11 [our] baby girl Hattie Margaret McDermott was born at 7:08am! Xoxo,” and shared a photo of her daughter’s feet.
Spelling and McDermott are also parents to Liam, 4, and Stella, 3. McDermott also has a 13-year-old son, and a 5-year-old adopted daughter from a previous marriage.
From the beginning, the couple wanted to keep the baby’s gender a surprise. The actress announced her pregnancy in April, saying she and her husband wanted to have four children.
However, with two young children, Spelling found that her third pregnancy was more difficult. In September, she stated that this would probably be her last, and that she could not wait to be able to eat sushi again.
The couple plans to introduce their new baby on the premiere of the sixth season of their reality show, Tori & Dean: Home Sweet Hollywood.
