Toronto airport ranks among the ten worst in the world

More than half of the flights are delayed at this airport!

Since the travel season is in full swing, many tourists are facing a major issue: delayed flights. Between the labor shortage, the influx of travelers and the COVID restrictions that are still in place in some locations, smooth travel is almost a miracle!

In a recent CNN article, it was reported that a Canadian airport was ranked in the top 10 worst in the world for flight delays. And to top it all off, this airport takes the top spot! That’s right, Toronto Pearson International Airport has an unfortunate 52.5% of flights delayed, or more than one out of every two flights. Oops!

The data taken to calculate this percentage is based on flights that took place between May 26 and July 19, so if you have to transit through Toronto airport, expect a high risk of having your flight delayed.

In addition, Toronto Pearson International Airport ranks fourth in the world for flight cancellations with a 6.5% cancellation rate during the same period mentioned above.

In short, it takes a lot of patience to travel by plane!
