Producer Neal H. Moritz (Fast and Furious) and his company, Original Film, are in final negotiations to produce a remake of the 1990 film Total Recall, which starred Arnold Schwarzenegger.
The science-fiction film was inspired by the Philip K. Dick story, We Can Remember It For You. The movie follows a man who has a recurring dream that he travels to Mars, where he buys his dream company called Rekall Inc.
The man soon believes that he is a secret agent who was sent to Mars to save the air of the universe.
The 1990 film earned $261 million at the box office.
