Tove Lo begged her brother’s best friend to take her virginity.
The 29-year-old singer – whose full name is Ebba Tove Elsa Nilsson – has admitted the first time she was drunk, she picked up the phone to ring her older brother’s closest pal to confess her love for him and plead with him to be the first person she enjoyed a steamy sex session with.
Speaking about her love life in a Facebook Live with The Sun, the brunette beauty said: "I was quite young, and I wasn’t allowed to drink yet. It made it harder for me to handle it I guess. I called my brother’s best friend and told him I was in love with him. And I would definitely let him take my virginity."
However, the star has revealed the pair never ended up getting hot under the sheets.
She added: "He didn’t. But that was the worst. And at that age, I was so ashamed."
Tove’s sibling swiftly heard about her desperate request and was "so angry" at her.
She explained: "Oh yes, they were at a party, like we were at different parties. He [her brother] was so angry at me. [He said] ‘You’re so embarrassing.’ And I was embarrassed. But also I’m like ‘Why not?’"
However, the ‘Talking Body’ hitmaker has moved on from her crush and has finally found love with a New Zealand male who she met at a party the musical duo Broods held.
Speaking about her partner, Tove said: "I met him at a Halloween party they [Broods] had. I’m dating a Kiwi. He’s not a Kiwi. But, I don’t know maybe when I go there we’ll see."
Although the vocalist has a new beau by her side, she has admitted she would happily hook up with ‘Joy’ actress Jennifer Lawrence because she thinks she is "so stunning" and "so funny".
Speaking about her celebrity crush, she said: "There’s a lot of cute ones. But I would think probably Jennifer Lawrence. She is so stunning but she is so funny, and I love that."
