After learning that four members of her family were killed in a car accident in South Africa, actress Helena Bonham Carter had to leave the set of the film Terminator Salvation to join her family.
Fiona, the actress’ cousin, lost her son, mother, stepdad and sister-in-law in the crash that occurred over the weekend.
"Everyone here was in a state of shock when the news came through. I saw an assistant of Helena’s who told me she is absolutely stricken with grief. She can’t believe what happened," a source told the Sunday Express.
At the moment, it is unknown how long the 42-year-old star will break from the fourth installment of Terminator, where she plays the character Serena.
