A new five-minute trailer for the film The Day the Earth Stood Still can now be seen on the Internet.
In the remake of the 1951 film, Keanu Reeves plays Klaatu, an extraterrestrial who lands on Earth causing quite a disruption.
While the government attempts to investigate the real reason behind the visit, a woman, played by Jennifer Connelly, and her stepson join the mission and discover why this being describes himself as a friend of Earth.
Kathy Bates, Jaden Smith, Jon Hamm and John Cleese complete the cast.
The Day the Earth Stood Still will hit theatres, including IMAX cinemas, on December 12.
