Trailer for The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus

The new trailer for the film can now be seen on the Internet.

Directed by Terry Gilliam, the film stars Christopher Plummer and Heath Ledger. Since Ledger died while the film was still shooting, Johnny Depp, Colin Farrell and Jude Law played the different facets of Ledger’s character.

Lily Cole, Andrew Garfield, Verne Troyer and Tom Waits also star in the film.

The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus is about a traveling show that takes spectators into a world between light and shadows. Parnassus once made a pact with the devil for eternal life. Centuries later, he meets his one true love and makes another pact to return to his youth, but in exchange, will have to give up his first child when she is 16-year-old.  When his daughter’s sixteenth birthday approaches, Parnassus wants to protect her from her destiny.

The film hits theatres on Christmas Day.
