This movie is being directed by Christopher Nolan (The Prestige, Memento, Insomina) and Bale will once again play the starring role as Batman. The role of the Joker will be played by Australian actor Heath Ledger. Other cast members include Aaron Eckhart, Maggie Gyllenhaal, Gary Oldman, Michael Caine and Morgan Freeman.
The sequel to Batman Begins will not be in theatres until July 18, 2008, but fans can watch the trailer for a sneak preview.
In the meantime Christian Bale can be seen in the movie I’m Not There, in which he plays the part of Jack Rollins.
