Trent Reznor gives its away

One of the most highly anticipated films this fall is The Social Network. It recounts the controversial birth of the Facebook social networking site. Nine Inch Nails frontman Trent Reznor was called on to write the score for the film.

Reznor owns the rights to the music and posted five songs online today (September 17) that fans can download for free. The film soundtrack will be released at the end of the month.

The five songs can be found on the nullco.com website.

The full album will be available shortly and, as promised by Reznor, it can be purchased for a very affordable price. The musician vowed to offer the entire soundtrack for only $2.99.

Justin Timberlake stars in The Social Network which hits theatres on October 1.
