True Colors Tour

Cyndi Lauper and the group the B-52s will be performing across the United States as part of the True Colors tour.

Cyndi Lauper and the B-52s will anchor the tour which will be starting May 31 at Boston’s Bank of America Pavilion.

Other celebrities that will participate include Rosie O’Donnell, the Indigo Girls, Joan Jett, Regina Spektor, Joan Armatrading, Tegan & Sara, Wanda Sykes and Nona Hendryx.

This tour, which has been organised by the True Colors Fund of Stonewall Community, aims to raise money for homosexual, lesbian and transsexual groups, and will be visiting 24 cities.

True Colors will also have a political flavour since the artists will be encouraging fans to vote in the presidential American election. "Let’s celebrate and have fun this summer while we spread the word to get out the vote and all become a part of the changes in this country," said Lauper, 54.
