Courtney Love is estranged from her teenage daughter, Frances Bean Cobain. "Bean" is also the daughter of late Nirvana frontman Kurt Cobain. She receives a whopping $40,000 a month from her trust fund as outlined in her father’s will.
The 17-year old (who turns 18 on Sunday, August 15) lives by herself in a mansion two doors down from her paternal grandma and aunt. Love recently expressed some motherly concern about how her daughter spends all that money.
Love publicly stated: "…there’s no drug testing going on. It’s a lot of money for a normal person. It’s enough money to kill her, if she is doing drugs, enough money to be gone by the time she’s 22."
The Hole frontwoman also wrote on her Twitter page: "Bean, I saw you at Coachella in a pic… I love you, sorry to take to the world wide Ethernet but I love you… I know you need me and I need you. I miss you Bean."
Frances Cobain got a temporary restraining order against Courtney Love in December 2009 and has no contact with her.
