Twilight Inspires a Reality Show

The Twilight film franchise has fuelled ideas for a new TV reality show.

Television producers want to take advantage of all the hype surrounding the Twilight franchise.

They now want to discover the community of Forks, Washington, where the hit films were shot. Twilight author Stephenie Meyer chose the 3,000-resident town to serve as the backdrop for the films.

Since the release of the first flick, Forks has reaped an unprecedented flow of tourists, especially at Kalama High School. Thousands of fans have paid a visit to the school to take photos of places seen in the movies.

The new reality show is still in its early stages, but we know that producers are veering away from supernatural stories, and are instead focusing on real life in Forks and what it has to offer.

Participants for the show are being sought out, though no production schedule has been set. Since the project is still in development, its success remains to be seen.
