Two boy bands together on tour?

The Backstreet Boys and New Kids on the Block may join forces on tour.

Two of the biggest boy bands around are in talks with Live Nation Entertainment to launch the tour to end all tours. If the deal happens, New Kids on the Block and the Backstreet Boys could be coming to an arena near you as early as March 2011.

Members of the two bands may record a single together before they head out on tour.

There are reports that Live Nation is looking for a third band to add to the tour. Boyz II Men is the name at the top of the list.

A source says: "The idea is to recreate the boy band phenomenon. It will be the ultimate ladies’ night out."

NKOTB and BSB first performed together in June at Radio City Music Hall. The Backstreet Boys are without Kevin Richardson. He left the band in 2006.

Live Nation is not commenting on the proposed tour.
