Two Members of The Cure Quit

Two members of the British group The Cure announced Friday that they are leaving the group after many years.

Keyboardist Roger O’Donnell and guitarist Perry Barmonte are the two who have called it quits.  O’Donnell wrote on his official website, "As of Tuesday this week I am no longer a member of the Cure.  It was sad to find out after nearly 20 years the way I did but then I should have expected no less or more."  He also added that he has already started working on a solo disc.

The reason for the departure is still unknown.  The Cure is preparing for a tour at the end of the summer.
