Megan Fox has become a sought-after action film star in Hollywood lately. The actress has two new projects scheduled, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
She is currently in final negotiations to join Josh Brolin and John Malkovich in Jonah Hex, an action Western film based on a comic book.
She will play Leila, a beautiful gunslinger who is the object of Hex’s affection. Hex (Brolin) is a scarred bounty hunter, who tries to stop a voodoo-practicing villain (Malkovich) from forming an army of the living dead to free the South from the United States.
Like Jonah Hex, Fox’s second project is also inspired by a comic strip. In Fathom, she will play Aspen, a young woman who learns that she is a member of an aquatic humanoid race that can manipulate water.
Fox will also be seen resuming her role as Mikaela alongside Shia LaBeouf in Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen on June 24. She will also star in Jennifer’s Body, opening September 18.
