Uma Thurman acts naughty and nice for Givenchy

Actress promotes new fragrance Ange Ou Demon Le Secret Elixir.

French fashion house Givenchy launched a special edition of its 2009 fragrance, Ange Ou Demon Le Secret, named Ange Ou Demon Le Secret Elixir, with an ad campaign starring Uma Thurman, reports Fragrantica.

Thurman signed on to star in the new ad campaign. Photographed by Mario Testino, the actress is featured in both print and television spots.

In a large, airy room decorated in monochromatic hues of white, black and grey, the 30-second commercial opens on a wide shot of Thurman’s legs and white stilettos. Dressed in a long, white flowing gown, she rises from her seat and moves to her vanity, where she sensuously applies the fragrance to her wrists and neck.

Crossing the room, she passes a full-length mirror and stops in shock upon seeing herself reflected back – not in the white gown she’s wearing, but rather in a sexy black outfit and heavy makeup. Her reflection gives her a knowing grin, and both versions make a hushing gesture before walking off with an amused expression.

Secret Elixir features sensual heart notes of orange blossom, sambac jasmine, and frangipani with top notes of Italian lemon, green tea and neroli over a velvety base of cedar, vanilla, musk and patchouli, giving it a deeper and richer scent than its predecessor.

The new fragrance is in stores now, available in 30, 50 and 100 mL bottles.
