According to the website Femalefirst, Thurman was injured while on the set of the film The Accidental Husband.
A source revealed that the actress sustained the injury when "she was jumping to reach something and fell on her hand".
The Kill Bill star didn’t at first realize the extent of her injury. The following morning, she was in considerable pain and went to the hospital, where she underwent an operation.
Filming for The Accidental Husband was forced to pause for one week while the blonde actress recovers.
Thurman, 36, hopes to be better quickly, and back at home in New York with her two children, Maya, 8, and Roan, 4.
