According to Variety, Thurman will play Eloise’s nanny. Charles Shyer will be directing the 37-year-old actress. Shyer also wrote the screenplay, along with his daughter, Hallie Meyers-Shyer, and Larry Spencer. The three writers were inspired by the Kay Thompson books and Hilary Knight illustrations.
Shyer is currently looking for a young actress to play Eloise. Filming is set to begin in June in London, Paris and New York.
Thurman has just finished filming the romantic comedy The Accidental Husband, which opens in theatres later this year.
