Musician Kevin Shields has confirmed that his group, My Bloody Valentine, is preparing to record two new albums, reports NME.com.
After the band gave a concert in New York on September 21, Shields said that he wanted to start working on songs that were written for his last album project, which had been put on hold.
Shields expects to finish the album so that the group can focus on another entirely new disc in the fall.
The last album released by My Bloody Valentine, entitled Loveless, dates back to 1991.
