Usher May Star with Tom Cruise

The music star who already has several projects in the works, is currently in discussions regarding the action film with American actor Tom Cruise.

Usher says, "We’re going to make an action film together. I sat down and had a meeting with Tom."

A representative for Cruise has confirmed that the two stars have met concerning the film.  He also stated that the two met when Usher was invited to the filming of the Steven Speilberg film War of the Worlds.

The spokesperson says, "Tom is a huge fan of Usher’s work."
