Hair care brand Dessange has announced French actress Vahina Giocante, 29, as the face of their newest advertising campaign, reports Elle.fr.
Giocante will appear in ads for Reveil Color, the new range of products specially formulated for colour-treated hair.
Giocante, who has appeared in a number of films in her native France, was approached by Dessange because they felt that her sensuality, deep blue-grey eyes and blonde hair embodied the brand perfectly.
Reveil Color is a part of Dessange’s Competence Professionnelle collection, featuring shampoo and conditioner enriched with B5 to help repair hair damaged by colour treatments.
Jaques Dessange opened his first salon in Paris in 1954, eventually going on to build an empire in partnership with haute couture, and now serves over 60,000 clients a day worldwide. In addition, he worked styling hair for major fashion labels such as Dior and Chanel, and became the appointed hairstylist for Hollywood stars like Brigitte Bardot, Sharon Stone and Jane Fonda.
The Dessange brand is the official partner of the Cannes Film Festival and the official hairdresser to the tennis players of the French Open.
In 1977, Dessange became the first hair salon franchise in the beauty industry. Five hundred salons in 45 countries now operate under the Dessange name, as well as several training institutes.
