Valentina de Valentino

Italian designer to launch new fragrance for women.

Italian fashion house Valentino will launch its new Valentina de Valentino fragrance for women in September, reports Elle.

Master perfumers Alberto Morillas and Olivier Cresp created the sophisticated new floral fragrance packaged in a round flacon embellished with three fabric flowers.

The new floral-oriental scent is meant to be ‘sensual and sexy, elegant, rebellious and fun.’ The notes feature bergamot, white truffle, white flowers, strawberry, cedar, amber and vanilla.

The campaign will be fronted by the lovely Danish model Freja Beha Erichsen, who will incorporate the ‘rebellious Italian heiress’ spirit of the fragrance. Photographed by David Sims, the campaign was shot at night in a deserted-looking Rome.

As the brand’s first fragrance under new licensing arrangements with luxury perfume license Puig, Valentina will be available September 23, in 30, 50 and 80 ml Eau de Parfum along with complementary beauty products, including skin lotion, shower gel, body oil, and deodorant spray.

Valentino was established in 1960 by fashion icon Valentino Garavani, and now operates in more than 70 different countries with products available through 1,250 locations. Valentino offers a wide range of luxury products from haute couture and prêt-à-porter to accessories that include bags, shoes, small leather goods, eyewear and watches.
