The fashion house Valentino announced on Saturday (October 4) that Maria Grazia Chuiri and Pier Paolo Piccioli, who have worked over ten years alongside Mr. Valentino, will become the new artistic directors to oversee all of the company’s collections.
After experiencing some differences, the company put an end to its collaboration with Alessandra Facchinetti, who became the artistic director in September 2007.
The nomination of Chuiri and Piccioli could be provisional and may be upturned by Giambattista Valli, who was rumoured to become the next artistic director.
