Van Halen Is Too Expensive

A Van Halen concert in Canada had to be cancelled due to an exorbitant price tag.

A Van Halen concert in Canada has been cancelled, because government officials realised that they could not afford the band, reports FemaleFirst.

The show was supposed to take place in Charlottetown in September, but the cost, which was expected to be subsidized by the provincial government, had climbed to a perplexing number.

Valerie Docherty, the minister of Tourism, explained that the show’s price, which the government was to pay, jumped from $1.6 million to $4 million dollars, which to them, was not the best way to spend public money.
