High School Musical star Vanessa Hudgens denies the buzz that she is part of the cast of New Moon, reports FemaleFirst.
This week, word got out that Hudgens was to play the female werewolf, Leah Clearwater. These rumours were spread by Twilight actress Ashley Green. She said that Hudgens auditioned for the part, and that she thought the actress would be perfect for the role.
Hudgens’ spokesperson commented on the rumours, saying, "’I don’t know anything about the audition – as far as I know, it’s just a rumour."
So far, the only confirmed actors signed on for the film are Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner.
